“A controller valve on the air conditioner outsmarted itself and would not reset. Stephen was assigned as Tech. Stephen immediately presented himself with professionalism, friendliness, and much personality (refreshing). He stated his purpose with authority and ruled out causes until he found the problem. All Summers' techs are top notch of the ones I have met and Stephen is NO exception. He presented himself with an upbeat personality, highly intelligent (especially concerning his job) and engaged in knowledgeable and pertinent conversation. While attending to fixing the problem he checked other things on the furnace and noticed that the Reme-Halo air purifier was not working (the ballast went bad, not the bulb) and got it replaced under warranty within 2 days. He further instructed me on the workings of the Ecobee smart thermostat and how to download the information of the thermostat on my phone. He was very much informative and supportive. This call by Stephen went well above and beyond his required job duties. By the end of his service call, I felt informed and educated… he took on every question I had and took his time to answer and made me feel he wanted to serve me and my needs: not to hurry, get the job done, and leave.
